Pub in the Park

Festival season has officially begun! Eager to catch all your favourite bands or excited to immerse yourself in the culinary traditions and regional dishes of your local area and beyond? What is Pub in the Park?

Sponsored by Greene King and the brainchild of Michelin-starred celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, Pub in the Park is much more than a simple food festival; it’s a vibrant yet laid-back celebration of food, drink, and music, with more than its fair share of surprises and special guests.

Although this festival had humble beginnings in 2017 as a single-day event in Higginson Park, Marlow, it gradually expanded each year until it developed into the veritable extravaganza of live music, food and drink we know and love today. Speaking of drink, Greene King are proud to be the official brewery partner for Pub in the Park, supplying refreshing cask and keg beers for thirsty festival-goers.

When and where is Pub in the Park?

Pub in the Park is unlike many other familiar festivals in that it comprises multiple events. While the festival once grew to a whopping ten summer events in 2022 – 2023, it has since been condensed into four, showcasing the crème de la crème of the culinary and music industries. These four events include:

  • Higginson Park, Marlow, 15th-18th May
  • Gunnersbury Park, London, 30th May-1st June
  • Priory Park, Reigate, 11th-13th July
  • Verulamium Park, St Albans, 5th-7th September

Each event features a stellar lineup of live entertainment, food vendors, tasting sessions, workshops demonstrations and much, much more.

What to expect

Pub in the Park is for lovers of food, music and the Great British summer. Amateur gastronauts and seasoned foodies alike can enjoy a whole host of live cooking demonstrations and enlightening Q&A sessions from the likes of Simon Rimmer, Matt Tebbutt and the main man, Tom Kerridge himself.

It’s safe to say that Pub in the Park is a family affair, suitable for all ages. Not only that but with a wealth of kid-friendly attractions and activities, your little ones are guaranteed to have a whale of a time!

Get the rounds in

Sure, Pub in the Park is the home of exceptional food from around the world, but what would it all be without a tall, refreshing pint or two to wash everything down? Since we partnered with this fabulous festival back in 2018, Greene King have proudly served up thousands of quality tipples from our on-site tabletop bars, including Flint Eye, Level Head, Hazy Day and Prior Life.

Better yet, this year we’re getting an upgrade! To account for the ever-growing number of attendees, we’ve graduated from a modest tent to a larger, fully enclosed bar along with two other satellite bars across each site, so let’s get pouring out some showstopping Greene King beers! And make sure you try our latest addition for 2025, Old Session Hen.

A star-studded lineup

Four jam-packed events equals a whole lot of music! Whether you’re here for the food, the buzzing atmosphere or the lineup of celebrated bands and musicians, make sure you pack those dancing shoes – you’ll be needing them!

With headlining acts such as Squeeze, Jess Glynne, Dizzee Rascal, Will Young and Ocean Colour Scene as well as supporting acts, tributes and more DJ sets than you can shake a stick at, your summer soundtrack is well and truly sorted. Live music with a pint in hand? Sounds like our idea of a good time.

Previous performers

If the upcoming lineup of music legends isn’t enough to have you hyped up and raring to go, our lengthy list of acts from previous years will surely have you feeling festival-ready. Guests in 2024 jammed out to the likes of Busted and Scouting for Girls, 2023 attendees enjoyed Clean Bandit and Tinie Tempah, and 2022 saw Supergrass and Sophie Ellis-Bextor take to the stage. Whatever your taste in music and whatever you’re in the mood for, be it a compilation of chart-topping pop hits, nostalgic anthems or indie festival favourites, Pub in the Park has it all.

Getting there

However, if you’d prefer to take your own vehicle, parking will be available, although spaces are likely to fill up quickly, and priority is always given to blue badge holders.

It is also worth noting that there will be plenty of seating dotted around each site, and although camping chairs are generally not permitted, everyone is entitled to a good time, so don’t hesitate to get in touch with the organisers if you have accessibility requirements.

Once you purchase your ticket, be sure to check your inbox closer to the event date for a Plan Your Day email, featuring all the need-to-know information.
