T-A Crowned Winner of Belhaven Untapped 2026
- T-A has been crowned the first-ever winner of Belhaven Untapped following a live final in Stirling.
- The Band received £5,000 to support their music career and will now progress to the Greene King Untapped UK final in London.
- The overall UK winner will receive £10,000, professional studio time, a Rolling Stone UK Awards performance slot and exclusive mentoring from McFly’s Danny Jones.
T-A has been crowned the first-ever winner of Belhaven Untapped, following a live final showcasing some of Scotland’s most exciting emerging music talent.
The Dunfermline four-piece, formed of old school friends, took the title at The City Walls in Stirling on Friday 28 August, beating fellow finalists Bella Rana, Kaleidoscope and Pelikan Rogue.
As the 2026 Belhaven Untapped winner, T-A received £5,000 to support their music career and will now progress to the Greene King Untapped UK final in London next week.
There, they will perform in front of a judging panel including McFly star and Live at Your Local ambassador Danny Jones, with the overall Greene King Untapped winner receiving a prize package including:
- £10,000 in cash
- A professional studio recording session
- A performance slot at the Rolling Stone UK Awards 2026
- An exclusive mentoring session with Danny Jones
T-A impressed the judging panel, made up of last year’s Greene King Untapped winner Jasmin Jet, Stevie McCrorie (winner of The Voice, 2015) and Music Venue Trust’s Stina Tweeddale (Honeyblood), with their iconic stage presence and neo-grunge inspired original sounds.
The four Piece, post-punk band hailing from Dunfermline started out as a high-school band and have since taken the Scottish grassroots music scene by storm with their exciting, unique sounds. Their stylistic adaptability blends influences from The Velvet Underground and Orbital with a Gwen Stefani-esque pop vocal.
Sophie De-Rose from T-A said: “We’re absolutely buzzing to have won the first-ever Belhaven Untapped Final. The whole experience has been incredible and performing on Friday alongside so many brilliant Scottish artists was incredible. To come away as the winner is honestly a bit surreal.
“The £5,000 will make such a difference to us as a band and help us invest in our music and take things to the next level. Now we get to represent Scotland at the Greene King Untapped final in London, which is an amazing opportunity. We can’t wait to get down there and give it everything.”
Belhaven Untapped forms part of Live at Your Local, Greene King and Belhaven pubs’ UK-wide celebration of grassroots music, which is bringing free live performances to pubs throughout August and September while giving emerging artists opportunities to perform in front of new audiences.
The Stirling final marked the culmination of regional heats held across Scotland, with Belle Rana, Kaleidoscope, Pelikan Rogue and T-A all earning places in the final.

The Greene King Untapped UK final will take place on 11 September 2026 at The George in Southwark, London. T-A will compete against regional winners from across the UK for the overall title.
