When is the World Cup 2026?
The opening match is set for Thursday the 11th of June 2026 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, while the final will be played on Sunday the 19th of July 2026 in the New York New Jersey Stadium.The World Cup 2026 schedule

Who has qualified for the World Cup 2026?
The home nations (Canada, Mexico and the USA) have automatically qualified and will be joined by 45 nations. Qualifiers are still ongoing, but we can expect to see Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Morocco and Australia competing in the group stage later this year.We’re still waiting to find out if England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland will be competing. Keep an eye on those all-important qualifying matches!
World Cup draw
While all teams will be confirmed in March 2026, the World Cup 2026 draw is set to take place on the 5th of December 2025 at the John F Kennedy Center in Washington. The draw will confirm the groups and matches for the first two weeks of the tournament.Watch live football at a pub near you
