We know the score: whether it's half-term lunches, Wednesday evening dinners, a weekend treat or a special occasion, you need a fabulous kids' menu with plenty of chicken nuggets to help you get the little ones fed and watered with no fuss. And, we've got just the trick.
At Greene King Pubs, our kids' menu is full of delicious meals for children and makes eating out with the whole family easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
VAT reduction on kids' meals
Following the Government's temporary reduction in VAT on children's meals to 5%, we're passing those savings directly on to our guests from 25th June to 1st September 2026. That means all qualifying children's meals on our kids' menus, along with selected children's drinks, will be available at a reduced price during this period.
If you're taking advantage of one of our children's meal offers, you'll see those savings reflected too. The reduced pricing will be applied automatically at the till, so there's nothing extra you need to do. Simply order as normal and enjoy the savings.
What's included?
The temporary reduction applies to:
- Children's meals listed on our kids' menus.
- Additional courses purchased as part of a qualifying children's meal deal, including eligible desserts and drinks.
- Children's drinks listed on our kids' menus, including: Fruit Shoot, Innocent Water, Ribena, glass of milk, Yazoo, and fruit juice (standard serve).
What's not included?
- The following drinks/offers are excluded from the reduction:
- Cordials
- Carbonated soft drinks

Whether they tuck into our crispy Battered Fish & Chips with chips and peas on the side or go for our rich Tomato Pasta with perfectly-cooked rigatoni, they'll find a perfectly-portioned plate ready to fill and fuel them for a day of fun.
And, if you're looking for vegan or vegetarian kids' meals, we've got Quorn™ and plant-based dishes, like our Plant-Based Nuggets, which are served with a jacket potato and peas. No need to stress over dinner ideas this week, we'll sort the cooking!
Our kids' desserts – including ice cream!
The most important part of any kid's meal (and the most important food in a little one's diet) has to be the dessert, which is why ours is always the best in town!
Our Vanilla Clotted Cream Ice Cream is creamy, delicious and topped with chocolate sauce, making it a super-sweet treat to finish off a hearty meal. Plus, it's veggie-friendly!
If your child is in the mood for something a little more indulgent, our Chocolate Brownie is a real treat, with vanilla ice cream on the side, while our Fresh Strawberries offer a healthier dessert option for little bellies.

Adults, don't worry, because our childrens' menus clearly state the sugar, salt and calorie information for each meal, and our mains all include at least one of your little one's five-a-day.
