Greene King Untapped 2026 has come to an unforgettable close, with Arjé Rayne named this year’s winner after a standout performance at The George, Southwark. The Nigerian-born, London-raised artist took the title following a live final at The George, Southwark, where nine emerging acts performed in front of a panel of music industry judges.

Hosted by Capital Breakfast’s Chris Stark, the final brought together nine emerging acts from across the UK, all competing for the chance to be crowned champion.

The judging panel featured Danny Jones, Fleur East, Nick Reilly of Rolling Stone UK, and Gavin Newman of Metropolis Studios, with Arjé Rayne standing out on the night for her energy, talent and crowd connection.

Across August and September, 900 emerging artists performed at free live music events in Greene King pubs across the UK, with finalists progressing through regional heats before reaching the London final.

Live at Your Local may have wrapped for the summer, but you can still discover live music at Greene King pubs near you.

Live with Danny Jones

Some nights are about discovering new music. Others are about remembering just how special live music in a pub can feel.

This summer, Danny Jones brought that feeling to Greene King Untapped, performing live at The Anchor Bankside as part of Live at Your Local.

With years of live performance experience, festival stages and chart-topping moments behind him, Danny helped shine a spotlight on the energy, atmosphere and excitement of live music in Greene King pubs.

From rising stars to unforgettable pub moments, it was a reminder that great music does not always need a huge stage.

How does it work?

  • Enter online (applications closed on July 13th) and show us what you’re made of. We’ll ask for the basics and a track or two to hear your sound. Just a heads up: submitting doesn’t guarantee you a spot but the pub will be in touch if you're selected to play.
  • Play a live heat at the pub. Expect proper crowds and real-time reactions. Win, and you’re off to the regionals.
  • Smash the regional final and you’ll earn a place at The George in Southwark for the grand finale where the best of the best battle it out.
  • Win it all and claim a £10,000 cash prize, a mentoring session with a renowned artist, and much more! Oh, and eternal bragging rights (obviously).

A word from 2025's winner, Jasmin Jet

"I felt every emotion all at once winning Greene King Untapped 2025. Taking part in the competition has opened doors and created opportunities that I don’t think would have been possible before, including £10,000 to invest in my singing career and recording my own EP. This is something I will definitely carry with me forever and I wholeheartedly encourage any grassroots artists in the UK to take that chance because you never know just how far it might take you."
