The Big Christmas Shift

It really was the most wonderful time of the year, and nobody should have had to miss out on a single moment of the festive magic. That’s why we put all the superb shiftworkers in the spotlight this year – the healthcare and hospitality heroes, the emergency service superstars, the public transport troopers and everyone else who worked through Christmas so we could enjoy ours. 

On the 1st of December, we celebrated shiftworkers by giving away 30,000 free main meals, with 10,000 exclusively for Blue Light card holders. That’s right, Christmas came early! 

After all, where would we have been without the retail workers who saved the day when the sprouts didn’t make the Christmas dinner shopping list? And where would we have been without the emergency gas engineers when the turkey was ready for roasting, but the oven was on the blink? 

The window to sign up for a free meal has now closed. However, we’re still serving up delicious festive meals and Christmas tipples every day. Visit your nearest pub to keep the celebrations going.

A Christmas feast worth waiting for

We love our food, and we like to think we do it well – especially at Christmas time. Our traditional Christmas dinner wouldn’t be complete without juicy roast turkey, golden, perfectly crisped roasties, fluffy Yorkshire puds and all the delicious trimmings. 

We’ve got pigs in blankets, stuffing, Brussels sprouts and of course, a generous drizzle of rich, velvety gravy. And if you’ve still got room, treat yourself to something indulgent from our decadent dessert selection. 

We haven’t forgotten about the festive drinks either. Why not toast the season with a glass of prosecco, a winter cocktail or a perfectly poured pint? After all, it’s Christmas!

It's that time of year again. Clinking glasses, twinkling lights, and all your favourite people in one place, sharing love, laughter and delicious festive food. We all deserve to be part of it, don't we?
