To celebrate the launch of the international rugby tournament, Greene King has partnered with Red Bull to activate their Best Seat in the House viewing experience, which looks to create the best place to watch the games outside of the stadium and to ensure that you’ll come for the game but stay for the party!

From Saturday 5 February, The Globe pub on Marylebone Road is transforming into an immersive, action-packed sports hub that recreates the iconic matchday stadium experience.

When fans arrive at The Globe, the first thing they’ll see is the Six Nations flags hanging proudly above the entrance to the pub, which has been remodelled to emulate a pitch style tunnel. Once inside, they’ll pass through two sets of miniature rugby posts and a wall of tournament memorabilia, before entering the main bar area which will be kitted out with additional lighting and production.

On top of the incredible renovations, The Best Seat in the House will feature a packed itinerary of events perfect for rugby fans. All three of the England vs home nations games at The Globe will include the live music experience of Famous First Words (rugby edition), and Monday 21 February will see former rugby stars James Haskell and Alex Payne do a live recording of the world’s largest rugby podcast The Good, the Bad & the Rugby.

As well as standout events, The Globe has also revamped its existing food and drink menu specially for the tournament. From snack plates and sharing platters to a range of quality burgers, The Best Seat in the House will have something for everyone.

Michael Heneghan, Spokesperson for The Globe, said: “The Globe has been totally transformed by Red Bull – as well as dozens of new big screen TVs and a totally redesigned interior, we’ve got a killer events programme running throughout the tournament.

“For this tournament, there really isn’t a better place to watch the rugby outside the stadium. If you can’t be there, be here! But, you have to book fast as seats are filling up ahead of the Ireland Vs Wales match on the 5th so there’s no time to lose. We’d recommend a Tropical Rumbull to get you ready for kick off!”
