Greene King Safety and Excellence

Greene King has been awarded full accreditation for its managed pubs from Best Bar None, reaffirming its commitment to responsible retailing and safer socialising for its customers and teams.
To receive the accreditation, 1,422 pubs across Greene King’s managed estate were assessed on compliance and safety, security, responsible operations, team welfare, wellbeing, community and customer care. This is the third year Greene King has achieved a 100% pass rate.

Best Bar None is a Home Office-backed initiative which identifies well-run licensed premises within the hospitality industry. The nationwide multi-site accreditation scheme complements the regional scheme model helping to bring more hospitality venues up to Best Bar None’s required standards. Greene King is also part of around 50 regional schemes.

The benefits of the accreditation include compliance with the Licensing Act while supporting teams to ensure pubs are run to a consistently high standard across the estate.

Greene King’s accreditation is valid until May 2027.
