Annual events in Birmingham
June: The Charity Dragon Boat Race
Raising money for the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, teams battle it out to race through a stretch of city centre canal, starting from The Mailbox and running right past the Malt House.
July: The Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival
Running since the '80s, the city's yearly jazz festival is a must-see, with performances workshops, talks and exhibitions at a huge host of venues.
August: Moseley Folk & Arts Festival
