THE BEER GARDEN

When the weather's good, there's no better place to be than the Malt House's beer garden. We've got plenty of space for you and all the family here, with direct access onto to the canal path if you're looking for a pit stop in the middle of your stroll.

THE BAR AREA

The bar area is a hive of activity all day long, with our team pouring pints and mixing drinks for tourists and locals alike. You'll find plenty of stools and tables everywhere if you fancy kicking back for a bit, plus an elevated area up a few steps if you want to sit somewhere a little quieter. Explore our collection of draught and bottled beers, cocktails, wines and spirits, or enjoy a quick bite to eat before you head back into the city.

THE DINING AREA

An armchair by the fire, a high table near the bar or the cosy booth under the stairs? We can't help you decide where to sit, but we can guarantee that when you finally do, we'll be there to serve you our delicious menu of starters, mains and desserts in our pub restaurant. And while you're waiting, have a wander around and take a close look at some of our weird and wonderful objects, like our antique gin pump or our collection of guitars and concert posters.

THE BALCONY

A view so good, it's got the presidential seal of approval. Bill Clinton (yes, the 42nd President of the United States himself) famously enjoyed a cool pint in the sunshine on our Malt House balcony while attending the G8 Summit in the city in 1998, so we like to think it's pretty special. With plenty of outdoor seating to sit and watch the barges sail by all day long, our balcony overlooks the Old Turn canal junction, as well as Brindleyplace and the Utilita Arena.
