Forget the gifts. This is the good stuff. Spending Christmas Day at the Railway Hotel just makes sense – it's like salt and pepper or peach schnapps and lemonade. Meant to be. We're dreaming of a grilled Christmas Day this year, and while you'll be glad to know we've held off on grilling the turkey, we've pulled together a festive feast for the history books. Steak on Christmas Day, anyone?
The best part about spending Christmas Day at ours? We've got the details locked in. Cooking? Sorted. Washing up? We've done it. A free glass of prosecco or orange juice? Of course! Unreal value for money? Well, we wouldn't be Railway Hotel without it!

Christmas Day in 2025 falls on a Thursday, which means that you can easily turn your festive celebrations into a long weekend. With bank holidays on the 25th and 26th, just three days off work will land you with nine whole days of Christmas cheer. It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy long, lingering lunches, robust winter feasts and time spent with those you love.
