The Spice Island is a traditional, family-friendly pub dating back to the 1700s and providing unbeatable waterside views of Portsmouth's harbour. Our unique name is due to the spot being the first place spices from around the world landed. Our pub used to exist outside the gates of old Portsmouth, which made it a lawless land for the Navy's press gangs. Take in the stunning views of the harbour from our cosy dining area or our spacious beer garden. We're also dog-friendly if you fancy bringing your furry friend along. Our pub food menu has a choice of classic dishes and seasonal additions, while our bar team can keep the drinks flowing.
