Perfected over generationsThe Blue Posts may be a surprisingly popular name for a pub in Soho, but we believe nowhere can quite compare to our handsome historic pub on the corner of Kingly Street. Wonderfully located for a visit to Carnaby Street’s boutiques or iconic Regent Street, The Blue Posts has extended a famously friendly welcome since it opened way back in the 1720s.
Over the years, the pub has embraced its community and with it, the fashions of the day. From extravagant bows and bustles to Victorian England’s corseted waists, full skirts and top hats, right through to iconic mini skirt of the 1960s, bohemian Soho has played a part in exhibiting the trends of the moment. Pay us a visit to soak up our intriguing interiors that tell of our incredible journey through the centuries as you drink, dine, relax and mingle. A warm welcome awaits.
The art of brewing
We know how much care and expertise goes into the art of brewing, so behind the bar you’ll find a wide selection of beers and cask ales to celebrate this much-loved craft, including our very own Roebuck Pale Ale and regularly changing Guest Ales. We also offer draught lager and cider, plus low and no-alcohol beers and soft drinks from brands such as Fentimans, Dalston’s and Belvoir.
For wine lovers, our carefully curated range by the glass and by the bottle, will really hit the spot. Discover intense reds, like the Argentinian Esquinas Malbec, or light and fruity whites such as Cuvee Amelie Chardonnay. For special occasions, only a bottle of fizz will do, and you’ll love our exquisite Champagne selection.
