Arguably the oldest pub in Bath, The Saracens Head was built in 1713 on the site of what was a Coaching Inn. Throughout its history we have had many visitors, but notably Charles Dickens stayed here during a visit to Bath.

Based in the stunning city of Bath, The Saracen’s Head is a charming traditional pub with a spectacular menu and a superb welcome for all who visit. Thought to be the oldest public house in the area, the pub has been popular with locals, university students and city visitors for decades, helped in part by its surroundings. Not far from the Saracen’s Head you’ll find the Jane Austen Centre, Pulteney Bridge with its fantastic views of the weir and Bath Abbey.
