Welcome to the Ships Anson, a family-friendly pub restaurant by Portsmouth's iconic harbour. Thought to be named after the 18th century HMS Anson, our building was once three side-by-side pubs until one was destroyed during World War II, and the remaining two were knocked through. Our mock Tudor front and ornate stained glass windows still boast that vintage appeal. Our pub food menu is sure to satisfy any craving and we also have a terrace overlooking the harbour. Catch the latest match with both Sky Sports and TNT Sports on our large screens. We host live music and karaoke if you're up for some entertainment, plus we have disabled facilities for ease.
