Yet that is only the beginning of our pub’s intriguing treasures. Originally a Victorian-era pub, the building was renamed in 1957 and became one of London’s first themed pubs—now lovingly restored to celebrate its history.
We invite you to step back in time and immerse yourself in the magic, mystery and intrigue of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s tales. With its rich wood panelling, vintage curios and etched glass, the pub captures the charm of Victorian London. We are passionate about the art of brewing, so behind the bar you’ll find a wide selection of beers and fine cask ales to celebrate this much-loved craft, including regularly changing guest ales and craft beers.

Our Homemade Sausage Rolls will be the talk of the town, and our Sherlock Holmes sharing platter for two features our best ever scotch egg, complete with an oozing orange yolk. For lighter bites you can enjoy the nostalgia of a fish finger sandwich, or our famously comforting Great British Cheese Toastie.
