THE ACTOR'S BAR

To drink or not to drink? That is the question – but if you ask us, there’s nothing quite like sipping a refreshing pint in the Actor’s Bar, while you peruse the myriad photographs showcasing the many stars of the stage who’ve graced the Dirty Duck with their presence over the years. Plus, with serene views of the River Avon from the bay window, you’ll soon feel like part of the antique furniture. This enchanting space is also available for hire, regularly lending itself to milestone birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and more.

THE CONSERVATORY

The conservatory - one of the more recent additions to this historic pub - is bathed in natural light, making it an inviting dining space for all occasions, juxtaposing the other more intimate, atmospheric and older rooms. This space flows seamlessly into the well-kept beer garden via a set of French doors, adding to its bright, airy ambience. With capacity for up to 40 guests, this space is also a top contender for gatherings, and you may even catch a glimpse of a famous face or two!

THE BEER GARDEN

In the words of Tony, our General Manager, the Dirty Duck’s beer garden is a “hidden gem”. Lush, adorned with twinkling lights and tucked away at the back of the property, this peaceful area was made for sunny days. However, if you’d prefer to sip your tipple riverside, there’s even more outdoor seating on the front terrace where you relax, unwind and enjoy a quiet moment as the River Avon meanders gently by.

THE OUTDOOR SNUG

While the beer garden is a midsummer night's dream, it also makes the perfect backdrop for a winter’s tale. If there’s a chill on the breeze, head to the very back of the garden until you discover our much-loved outdoor snug. With its comfortable seating and log burner, this cosy space is perfect for post-walk pints, festive gatherings and long-awaited catch-ups with loved ones while you all keep warm by the fire.
