The Big Christmas Shift 2026
It really is the most wonderful time of the year, and everyone should be able to share in the festive magic, especially those who work through Christmas so that we can enjoy ours.
From 2nd-5th December, we’re celebrating all the shift workers by giving away 30,000 free festive meals, with 10,000 of these saved exclusively for Blue Light Card members. That’s right - Christmas has come early!
After all, where would we be without all the retail workers who save the day when the sprouts don’t make the Christmas dinner shopping list? Or if an emergency gas engineer didn't come to the rescue when the turkey's ready for roasting and the oven's on the blink?

Sign up for a free festive meal
If you’re a shift worker, we’ve got a little festive cheer with your name on it! Simply sign up on our website, enter your details and nominate a friend or family member to join you for a free festive meal. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive two vouchers by email (for you and your nominated guest). Redeem both at your local Greene King pub between 2nd and 5th December and tuck into some delicious festive fare, on us! It’s our way of saying a big thank you to the people who keep our communities going.

This December, we’re serving up something special for those who work through Christmas so that we can enjoy ours. Shift workers can enjoy any main from our core or festive walk-in menus. Tuck into a traditional roast dinner, piled high with all your favourite trimmings, or sink your teeth into one of our delicious festive burgers packed with seasonal flavours.
