When is the World Cup in 2026?
ÂThe opening match is set for Thursday the 11th of June 2026 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, while the final will be played on Sunday the 19th of July 2026 in the New York New Jersey Stadium.Â

Who has qualified for the World Cup in 2026?Â
The home nations (Canada, Mexico and the USA) have automatically qualified and will be joined by 45 nations. Qualifiers are still ongoing, but we can expect to see Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Morocco and Australia competing in the group stage later this year.ÂEngland and Scotland will both be competing in the World Cup competitions this year.
