It's beginning to look a lot like... Christmas Day at Greene King Pubs

Forget the wrapping paper. Forget the washing up. Forget wondering if the turkey is actually cooked.

Our gift to you this Christmas is an unforgettable dining experience spent with your nearest and dearest inside our pubs.

We didn't think our Christmas Day menu could get any better, but it has! The meats are even juicier, the roasties are extra crispy, and the veggies are shining. We've even got tasty meat-free options available for the big day, too. Plus, with a range of Santa-approved starters and desserts, every visit will end in you feeling merry and bright (and full).

The more the merrier we say, and that's why our traditional Christmas dinners include all the special festive extras for that final touch of magic. From Brussels sprouts to pigs in blankets, we offer it all!

We can't think of a better place to spend your Christmas Day, can you?

Three people seated around a table in a festively decorated pub, enjoying a traditional Christmas meal. Plates containing roast dinners with Yorkshire puddings, vegetables and roast potatoes are served alongside a pint of beer, glasses of red and rosé wine, and green Christmas crackers. Seasonal garlands, framed artwork, patterned wallpaper and warm decorative lighting create a festive dining atmosphere.

Christmas dinner worth gathering for

There’s nothing quite like a proper Christmas dinner. The golden roast potatoes. The fluffy Yorkshire puddings. The moment everyone goes quiet because the first bite is that good.

Our Christmas Day dinner menu brings together all the festive favourites, from hand-carved roast turkey with all the trimmings to delicious alternatives for those looking to try something a little different.

Expect generous plates packed with seasonal flavours, including rosemary and garlic roast potatoes, stuffing, pigs in blankets, seasonal vegetables, braised red cabbage and rich, delicious gravy.

And if turkey isn’t your thing? Don’t worry. We’re not here to start a Christmas dinner debate; there's plenty to choose from...

Start with something special

Every great Christmas Day dinner needs a good opening act. That’s where our festive starters come in.

Think toasted ciabatta topped with smoked salmon, rocket and horseradish mayo, or a twice-baked mature cheddar soufflé served with caramelised red onion chutney.

Because Christmas calories don’t count. It’s basically a festive rule.

A person wearing a red paper crown sits at a table in a festively decorated pub, holding a glass of rosé wine beside a plate of food containing prawns, potatoes and salad leaves. Additional roast dinners, glasses of red wine and green Christmas crackers are arranged on the table. A Christmas wreath, seasonal garlands, fairy lights, patterned wallpaper and exposed brickwork create a festive dining setting.

The delicious classic, with all the trimmings

Let’s be honest, this is the bit everyone’s been waiting for. The main event. The reason someone always checks the menu before they’ve even booked.

Our Christmas Day dinner is packed with the classics you know and love. Enjoy succulent hand-carved roast turkey served with all the trimmings, including stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mash, seasonal vegetables, pigs in blankets and plenty of rich gravy.

Prefer something else this year? We’ve got you covered.

Tuck into dishes like sirloin steak with king prawns and a delicious sauce, or salmon wellington wrapped in golden pastry with all the festive sides. The only difficult decision is choosing what goes on your plate first (we recommend starting with the roasties. Obviously.)

There's always room...

You might say you’re full. We hear that every year. Then dessert arrives.

Even if you're stuffed with stuffing, finish off with something indulgent, such as our baked vanilla cheesecake served with pistachio sauce, raspberry crumb and clotted cream ice cream or our maple and pecan tart. Because after all that festive feasting, it would be rude not to.

Whilst a classic Christmas pudding is oh-so-yummy, we've got plenty of special sweet treats that are perfectly naughty AND nice! But the elves said we can't give everything away, so have a little peek yourself...
