Our 34 cyclists power on through France despite temperamental weather.

Simon Jaynes, based in our IT department in Bury St Edmunds, tells us about the second day in France.

Day two was obviously our first full day riding in France and it was a day that I am sure will be remembered by the team for the weather - we got a bit of everything!

In the morning we were faced with rain, thunder and even hail and by the afternoon we were cycling in 32 degree heat!

The ride itself was around 130km, involving plenty of climbing but much of it was done on quiet back roads with beautiful views of the French countryside.

Our final stop of the day was Arras, a town in the Hauts-de-France region of France. Everyone is still going well and the morning weather did not dampen spirits!
