Loch Fyne Seaford & Grill have launched a search for the nation's ‘best catch’ this Valentine’s Day, with a romantic weekend for two up for grabs for the most loved-up locals.
The seafood specialist is calling for couples to nominate their partner to be in with a chance of being crowned their ultimate ‘catch of the day’. As well as bagging themselves the title, the winning couple will also receive a luxury weekend stay on the shores of Loch Fyne in Scotland, where a lot of the restaurants' fresh fish is sustainably sourced.
The chosen partner will have to explain why they think their other half is the perfect catch and not just fishing for compliments, whether it’s the way they always make them smile, their impeccable dress sense or their top-notch skills in the kitchen.
Penny Baldwin, brand manager for Loch Fyne restuarants, said: “Valentine’s is the most romantic day of the year, so this year we wanted to share the love as we hunt for the nation's best catch.
“If you think your partner is the perfect dish, with all the right ingredients to be our very first ‘catch of the day’, then let us know and you could win yourself a romantic weekend at the beautiful Loch Fyne.
"From our classic aphrodisiac oysters, to sharing shellfish platters with lobster – we’ve got plenty of tasty options to get you both in the mood for love!
To nominate a loved one customers simply need to visit the Loch Fyne website https://www.lochfyneseafoodandgrill.co.uk/catch-of-the-day explaining in under 100 words why they think they could be the catch of the day before Sunday 18 February.
