On City Giving Day we are celebrating our London pubs’ support of Macmillan Cancer Support and local charities
This year Greene King is proud to be supporting City Giving Day. The day was launched in 2014 and unites the City of London through its charity and community partnerships, giving businesses small and large the opportunity to promote and celebrate the good work that they do.
At Greene King we are very proud of our charity partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support having raised over £3 million for the cancer charity in just five years and our London pubs play a big part in our fundraising.
Additionally, our pubs have the freedom to raise money for local charities and causes should they choose to do so, whether it is on an individual level or collectively. Earlier this year our London pubs came together for ‘Saturday night for London’ and helped raise money for the British Red Cross following the London terror attacks in June.
