Other Greene King ales
Our ale portfolio is arguably the most comprehensive
available from a single brewer.
Here are just a few of the other beers that make up that portfolio.
Royal London Ale
Royal London (4% abv) is rich, fruity and full of flavour, combining crystal malt with Challenger and Golding hops.
Greene King brewers have especially created this new cask beer called Royal London, to celebrate the country’s capital. It is available to savour in some of London’s most traditional and historic watering holes. Royal London is only available in selected Greene King pubs in London.
Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale
Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale is unique and unrivalled in
this country. It's a blend of two ales: Old 5X , which is brewed to the maximum
strength possible (around 12% abv) and left to mature in 100-barrel oak vats
for a minimum of two years, and BPA, a dark, full-bodied freshly brewed beer
which is added just before bottling. The result is a unique beer – strong
(6% abv), dark, fruity, oaky and very, very special!
Hen's Tooth
There's only one description for Hen's Tooth – the
nearest thing to real ale in a bottle.
Its balanced blend of strong, rich flavours (6.5% abv) leads to a satisfyingly
smooth, clean finish. The active yeast in the bottle continues to condition
and mature the ale through its life, producing not only the wonderful flavours
but also a smooth, foamy head.
Greene King XX Mild
Greene King XX Mild is a fine, dark, mild ale with a
distinctive taste (3% abv) and delicate aroma. It draws its characteristics
from a special blend of black and crystal malts to give a burnt, roasted flavour
while the delicate hint of hops in the nose comes from the Northdown variety.
