MARATHON PAIR TAKE ON LONDON CHALLENGE FOR MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT
Two Greene King employees will swap the pavements of Bury St Edmunds for the roads of the capital next weekend as they take on the London Marathon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. David Carr, 43, and Marie Williams, 40, who both work for Greene King in Bury St Edmunds, will tackle the iconic 26.2 mile course to raise vital funds for Greene King’s chosen national charity partner.

Greene King employees have got behind the Alzheimer’s Society’s latest initiative by signing up to become Dementia Friends. More than 1,000 of the pub retailer and brewer’s employees became a Dementia Friend during March.

GREENE KING LEISURE SPEND TRACKER REPORT - Recession leaves women feeling financially harder hit than men
British women are more downbeat about their finances than their male counterparts, according to the Greene King Leisure Spend Tracker. When Brits were asked whether they feel their financial situation is better or worse than five years ago, 6% more women than men responded negatively, with only 29% of women feeling better off than they were in 2010.
